一、Questions
 1. Do you like fashionable clothes?
 (1)  Well, I think I am one of the majority who like fashionable clothes, but I am not referring to those extravagant things that are on model shows on the T-stage show.
 (2)  As a boy (man), I do not usually pay as much attention to fashionable clothes as women do. I think it is  hard to get a male closely concerned with that kind of thing.
2. What kind of clothes do you think are fashionable?
(1)  Well, I think those clothes with intricate and imaginative designs are fashionable.
(2)  I am not sure about whether those expensive clothes in the big malls are fashionable or not.
(3)  All clothes that are slightly from the normal ones in design seem fashionable to me.
(4)  They are usually eye-catching, you know.
3. What do you think of the role of designer in clothes fashion?
(1)  I think a famous designer is very dominant in the fashionable area. These kinds of people are usually not thinking as normal people, they have brilliant ideas on how to make a design successful.
(2)  Well, I am not too sure, but I think the designer is only one factor of a successful fashionable clothes design. Public taste and advertising of a brand are also important.
4. How do you usually get information about fashionable clothes?
(1)  Well, I watch TV shows or read fashion magazine. Sometimes I discuss these matters with my friends.
(2)  I am interested in the current trend of fashionable clothes. I think internet is a good place to get this  information.
5. Do you think fashionable clothes are very important to one’s clothes?
(1)  Well, I wouldn’t say so, because one’s confidence is from one’s inside rather than outside. But people
would feel more self-confident when they appear nice, you know.
(2)  Yes, I agree to this opinion. Suitable clothes could give a person all kinds of great feelings, including  confidence.
6. Is there any change about your opinion to fashionable clothes?
(1)  Yes. In the past, I spend too much time on pursuing the newest trend of fashion. I think it is quite  exhausting. Now, I choose things that are just suitable foe me.
(2)  Well, I should say I am a little bit indifferent to fashion through time. So I think there is little change.
7. What do you think of the fashionable clothes in your hometown?
(1)  Well, I have got a vague sense about the fashionable clothes in my hometown. But I still think that people generally prefer light-colored clothes or things like that.
(2)  Actually, I think people there are quite diversified in their opinions on fashionable clothes. I mean, it is not a hot topic there.
8. What do you think of the difference between Chinese and western fashionable clothes?
(1)  I could find a huge difference between the two. The Chinese one is more traditional, while western fashionable clothes are gradually accepted by Chinese people.
(2)  Well, it is very hard to tell the difference nowadays. Chinese people love western fashion and western fashion and western people like to accept the beautiful old style of Chinese clothes.
