My Favorite Fruit--------Cherry

1 Why do I like cherries most?

I like a great many fruits very much such as bananas,oranges,mangos,grapes and so on,but cherry is the most delicious fruit I have ever eaten. Just like other fruits,cherry is of high nutrition. It can provide vitaminC and A and has ample minor contents such as iron,calcium and so on.It is a wonderful food to keep us healthy and taking some cherries every day make our skin look smooth.

2 Why was the cherry called ‘lucky fruit’ by me?

It was some years ago when I first tasted cherry.I once got high fever and I was very worried at that time because I have to take the final exam.My mum has gotten a good idea, she bought a small box of cherries after work and said to me: ‘take these fresh cherries and try to be relaxed,you’ll get a good mark.’ Those cherries were round and with deep red color. They tasted so sweet and juicy. After eating  them I felt better, then I did well in my final exam. I got 100 score in my math test. From then on, cherry has been my lucky fruit.

3 The experience of picking up cherries

Eating cherries is not enough. Last summer my parents and I went to Changping District to pick up cherries. It was so interesting and exciting. Cherry trees are not too high but tough enough for me to climb on. I’ve found that taste of cherries on the some tree is different from each other and I was told that some cherries were facing to sunshine while others were backing to. So they looked different. I prefer cherries which were facing to sunshine,because they are more delicious than others. Those lovely cherries were hiding under green leaves. And the air in cherry orchard was so fresh. I was busy picking  the ripe ones and red ones. However the price was more expensive than that in the supermarket. My mum had to pay 100 yuan for them.

4 How do we make use of cherries?

Cherries are of so many uses. They can be made into cherry wine,cherry jam,cherry juice and other products. Cherries can be used to decorate birthday cakes, cocktail wines and icecream. I prefer to eat cherry jam, because it can mske bread more delicious. When I grow up, I will try cherry wine, it must be tasty.

5 What I am dreaming in the future(现在进行时表将来，6级的语法点)

I am dreaming to own a land to plant a great number of cherry trees. All kinds of cherries can be found in my cherry orchard. I believe I will work hard and try my best to take care of them. The cherries will be much sweeter and more delicious.

The place which is rich in cherries is in Shandong, because the weather in Shandong is very warm and wet ,which is suitable for growing cherries.
